ABOUT US

Jay-James Miller, M.D. 

 

Jay-James Miller, MD, is board-certified in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and recognized as a "Top Surgeon" and "Quality Champion." He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.  He served his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and completed a board-approved three-year Fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Northwestern University’s Evanston Continence Center.  He then moved back to central Illinois to start Miller Urogynecology, the first urogynecology center of excellence in the region.  

Dr. Miller is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is the recipient of numerous awards for patient satisfaction and loyalty.  He has authored several scientific publications and presented at numerous national and international meetings.  His work has received prestigious awards from the International Urogynecological Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  He has also received a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Northwestern University School of Medicine. 

Miller Urogynecology is the first urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery practice in central Illinois and one of the few centers in the country that offers a single-center location for the diagnosis and treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders.  Urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder are some problems due to a loss of pelvic floor support.  At Miller Urogynecology, a specialized continence clinic coordinates and streamlines evaluation and treatment.
